Job Description:

An interior design company is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to handle the company’s ongoing projects. The PM must ensure all project requirements are executed on-time and within scope and budget.

Duties:

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility 
  • Coordinate daily check-ins with team members to ensure that all parties are on track and updated on the development of each project 
  • Obtain the client’s approval at all phases of the project 
  • Navigate change requests and ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and costs
  • Ensure all queries are resolved in a timeous manner and activate escalations when necessary
  • Proactively manage project risks
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all parties
  • Submit project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients
  • Conduct a post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project areas – share these findings in a post-project presentation to the team

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree (preferable) in Project management, Marketing, or Business Management 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in project management (including leading teams)
