Network Sales and Marketing Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop client’s offline User and Partner acquisition strategy;
- Coach, develop and train new sales agents;
- Manage the recruitment process for new sales agents;
- Design and develop training tools for sales agents;
- Manage the sales and marketing budget;
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to create new channels for User and Partner acquisition, such as community groups, stokvel’s corporate partners, and training organisations;
- Analyse Partner and User sales funnels to provide data-driven improvements;
- Develop monthly project plans for Partner and User Acquisition;
- Develop and present quarterly sales reports to the board of directors;
- Provide feedback and insights on customer segments and technology use;
- Support the Founder in strategic initiatives related to Partner and User Acquisition;
- Oversight of graphic design function.
Remuneration: Market-related salary (Basic+Commission, depending on experience and performance 20-50K), potential for share options
Location: Based in the Field & Head Office (Woodstock)
Start Date: As soon as possible (preferably before the 1st of September 2021)
Job Requirements:
- 5-9 years of experience working in sales;
- Experience managing a team and developing project plans;
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, or another relevant field;
- Experience in network marketing and multi-level marketing;
- Experience in sales and/or marketing to the base of the pyramid customers;
- Love and passion for the business service offering;
- Fluent in Xhosa and English;
- Valid driver licence preferable;
Skills/Attributes:
- Analytical and strong excel skills preferable;
- Experience in the beauty industry preferable;
- Good with new technology e.g. online PM software, CRM’s etc.;
- High motivated, target driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills;
- Transformational management style, ready to coach and grow a team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent relationship management skills; and
- Excellent written skills.
