Job Description:
An expanding tech company is looking for an outstanding Junior Web Developer to join the team and contribute to client website builds, implementing innovative design and layouts, and importantly ensuring that strong underlying structures of websites are in place.
Duties:
- Assist the web development team with all aspects of website and application design
- Adhere to design specifications and mock-ups with attention to detail
- Perform cross-browser quality assurance testing on websites
- Assist with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications
- Collaborate with developers to implement new web features
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Converting video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web
- Suggest and make improvements on existing web properties
- Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with client websites
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field
- At least 1 year of working experience as a junior web developer
- Experience working with HTML, Python JQuery, CSS/SASS, Javascript
- Solid understanding of web design and development principles
