
Human Resources Manager
Job Description:
A digital marketing company is looking for a decisive, ethical, and personable Human Resources Manager. The individual must align all HR initiatives with strategic business/operational goals whilst balancing the role of employee champion.
Duties:
- Design and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, and programs
- Provide company-wide HR guidance and support
- Ensure all HR initiatives are aligned to business and operational strategies
- Structure and implement company recruitment cycle
- Customize company induction program and ensure all new employees and inducted on their first day of work
- Customize company exit procedure, ensure exit interviews are conducted on the employees last day of work
- Ensure all employees have updated job descriptions
- Develop quarterly performance evaluation systems and career development programs. Train managers how to effectively rate performance using the standardised KPI documents and rating systems
- Address and resolve all employee disciplinary and grievance matters ensuring fairness in the workplace
- Ensure career development and succession planning is effectively implemented
- Assess company skill gaps and design and implement solutions
- Implement and maintain compliance with company BEE strategy
- Submit monthly HR reports to the executive team
- Ensure annual salary benchmarking is completed in a fair and systematic manner
- Establish creative programs that improve company culture and increase employee happiness
- Ensure completion and submission of annual EE and WSP
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Industrial Relations. (Honours Degree Preferable*)
- 5+ years of experience in an HR management position
- Experience using G-suite
- Must be personable, ethical and approachable
- Sound knowledge and experience working with Unions, LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDL Acts.
