Job Description:
A remote based business systems company is looking for an accounting graduate to take on an exciting Business Systems Assistant role. This unique role provides candidates with accounting backgrounds, the opportunity to further develop their accounting skills, as well as attain training and development in systems and reporting.
Duties:
- Accounting and financial reporting
- Ability to work with large data files in Excel
- Working knowledge of South African taxes – Income Tax, VAT, PAYE
- Working Knowledge of payroll and experience in payroll systems
Job Requirements:
- Post-graduate degree in Finance
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in Xero accounting software
- Hybrid role: Must have access to stable internet
- Must have own transport
Skills/Attributes:
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent data entry skills
- Experience with Xero
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
